This Unsponge double-sided heavy-duty version is made with a strong, wide-mesh hessian (burlap) and one side is Organic Cotton mesh for added scrubbing power for extra durability when you’re tackling those tough pots and pans.

What is inside? It is a natural cellulose sponge that is dye-free and is made from natural wood pulp, cotton fibers. This is so handy for getting those all-important suds to wash your dirty dishes.  Best of all it is completely Compostable and Biodegradable.

How long will a Heavy Duty Unsponge last? With regular dish soap and cleaners, the average life is 3-4 months, with bleaches and heavy chemicals up to 3 months.

Is it biodegradable? All parts of the Heavy Duty Unsponge are plant-based so it will break down completely with time. If you’d like to compost it just cut it into small pieces and shred it with your fingers.

Please wash prior to use. They are fully machine washable and air dry. We recommend you do not use fabric softeners as this will reduce their absorbency.
